FAMOUS version 6 has been totally redesigned to take advantage of the familiar Windows Graphical User Interface (GUI). This allows us to provide exceptional ease-of-use and extensibility. Rather than having to learn special commands, an intuitive point-and-click interface helps our customers to be up and running quickly, minimizing the learning curve. The user environment is easily customized, including window settings, personal "hotkeys" or shortcuts, and input screens.

FAMOUS also takes advantage of Windows and third party software services. These services include your Windows email program and address books and third party faxing services. We have smoothly integrated these services into FAMOUS to keep our code base small and to maximize your productivity. By sharing Windows features such as your address book, the need to re-enter this information is eliminated. If you want to email a report from FAMOUS, just choose the recipient and hit "send"!

Another benefit of the Windows environment is the ability to have multiple screens open at once. With terminal-based applications, it can be necessary to repeatedly switch back and forth between screens. In FAMOUS version 6, just minimize the current screen, and open a new one. You can easily toggle back and forth between any number of open screens.
