  • Ag-Savvy Cost Accounting: Automatic data capture, seamless integration with Famous GL, WIP tracking, lot/block calculations, and overhead allocation features.
  • Multiple Companies, Cash or Accrual: Report financial information across multiple companies. Use cash or accrual methods, or both.
  • Departmental Accounting: Define multiple levels of GL account organization, making it easy to track even complex organizations at the appropriate level of detail. For example, departmental accounting provides the ideal level of bookkeeping for most GL activities, while cost accounting will help you dig deeper.
  • Flexible Periods and Closings: Work in your choice of periods and years. Establish fiscal years lasting any length of time with any number of periods of any length. Fiscal periods, past or future, can be opened, closed, and reopened as necessary.
  • Budgeting: Budget by department and account, or by cost center. Accumulate budget data for both fiscal year and year-to-date reporting. Establish multiple budgets—a preliminary and a final budget, for example.

Payroll & Crew Management

Streamline crew management, I-9 documentation, and minimum wage calculations for piece workers, EVS reporting, and more. Payroll features are fully integrated with all other Famous modules. Automatic recurring entry features eliminate numerous manual tasks. As an employee's time is entered, you can also enter IDs for any equipment the employee used. Equipment hourly rates are used to calculate charges to cost centers. Interface with electronic timekeeping systems.

The Payroll module provides automatic Worker's Compensation Insurance computations and generates federal and state tax documents such as W-2 and W-3 forms and reports. Famous Payroll supports electronic payroll deposits to employees' bank accounts and cash payroll payments.
