Milestone 7 Outbound data storage (2012)

The PTI proposes that by 2012 companies scan all outbound case barcodes and electronically store GTIN and Lot/Batch numbers. According to the PTI website, scanning and retention details are still being developed and the "best practices for this activity are pending; they will be provided at a later date."

At Famous we will be watching the progress of this requirement and do everything possible to help you comply when the specifics have been provided to us.

PTI-STYLE CASE TAGGING STANDARD IN RELEASE 116

Beginning with Famous Software Version 116.00, case level PTI tagging and GTIN tracking are standard features. Track-and-trace capabilities are supported for field pack, shed pack, and repacked product.
