PTI Milestone #6: Inbound data storage (2011)

The PTI proposes that by 2011 companies scan all incoming case barcodes and electronically store GTIN and Lot/Batch numbers. According to the PTI Web Site, scanning and retention details are still being developed and the "best practices for this activity are pending; they will be provided at a later date."

At Famous we will be watching the progress of this requirement and do everything possible to help you comply when the specifics have been provided to us.
