Job Description:
The job of Software Quality Assurance Manager at Famous Software, LLC
includes the following responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Assurance team for Famous business applications
- Fulfill managerial functions including resource management, planning, and performance reviews
- Work in partnership with the Development and Product teams to deliver business functionality on time with
required quality
- Develop business processes to achieve operational excellence
- Coach team members to ensure proper direction and personal development
Qualifications:
The person we are looking for has the following
experience and knowledge:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in a software development environment with at least five years
in a QA capacity
- Must have three years of experience managing teams
- Current knowledge of QA methods and processes
- Experience selecting and implementing QA automation tools preferred
- Experience in ERP software environment preferred
In addition the candidate should have a working knowledge of:
- Typical software development life-cycles
- Requirements-based testing
- Software testing phases (e.g., Unit, System, Integration, Regression, Acceptance, etc.)
- Software testing concepts (e.g., Comparison, Usability, Boundary, Data Validation, etc.)
- Automated test script organization and maintenance
- Test planning
- Test documentation
- Defect reporting
- Version control and change management
- Famous Software, LLC uses a team approach to software development. The ability to work
with others as part of a team is a key requirement. You must be able to listen to others and communicate
your ideas effectively.
- You are self-motivated and can prioritize your own activities with some guidance and coaching.
You can solve problems through discovery and analysis. You need little day-to-day guidance.
- This is a hands-on role that requires you to learn the Famous application in detail.
Compensation:
Salary and benefits will be in line with
market rates and the individual’s experience.
