You will have the opportunity to work with some of the produce industry's leading Product Mangers, Software Developers, Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Database Managers. Together you will create and enhance reliable, integrated, world class Oracle/Windows-based supply chain business solutions.

This opportunity is appropriate for experienced software Quality Assurance professionals with a track record of success and a solid understanding of software quality control methodology. At Famous Software QA Tester is critical position. You will work closely with software developers and product teams with the goal of creating unexcelled product reliability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

·         Gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Famous Software products

·         Requirements-based test case analysis, design and implementation in a Windows / Oracle environment

·         Troubleshoot application issues

·         Execute a variety of assigned test cases

Qualifications/requirements

This position requires a minimum of two-years of experience in a business software development environment, preferably with at least one-year or more in a QA capacity.  A degree in information services, accounting or business management is required. In addition, please be prepared to demonstrate your:

·         Ability to work well in a team setting

·         Firm understanding of business transaction processing, accounting and payroll practices

·         Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels

·         Ability to understand and follow requirements-based testing and software development life cycles

·         Current knowledge of QA methods and processes

·         Knowledge of such testing concepts as comparison, usability, boundary, & data validation

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 products

·         Ability to discuss and define issues with technical team members

·         Passion for new technologies and attention to detail
