You will have the opportunity to work with some of the produce industry's leading Product Mangers, Software Developers, Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Database Managers. Together you will create and enhance reliable, integrated, world class Oracle/Windows-based supply chain business solutions.

This opportunity is appropriate for experienced software Quality Assurance management professionals with a track record of success and a solid understanding of software quality control methodology. At Famous Software QA Manager is senior position. You will schedule resources, hire, review and grow the QA staff. Your team will work closely with software developers and product teams with the goal of creating unexcelled product reliability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

·         Gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Famous Software products

·         Build, manage and coach a world-caliber software QA team

·         Plan and implement effective product testing schemas and tools

·         Develop and improve QA best practices

·         Create and maintain version control and change management systems

Qualifications/requirements

This position requires a minimum of ten-years of experience in a business software development environment, with at least five-years in a QA capacity.  Experience selecting and implementing QA automation tools and ERP solutions will be helpful. In addition, please be prepared to demonstrate your:

·         Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels

·         Understanding of requirements-based testing and software development life cycles

·         Current knowledge of QA methods and processes

·         Ability to manage phased testing (unit, system, integration, regression, acceptance, etc.)

·         Knowledge of such testing concepts as comparison, usability, boundary, data validation, etc.

·         Ability to oversee automated test script organization and maintenance

·         Motivation and time management skills

·         Strong technical abilities

·         Passion for new technologies and attention to detail
