We use a team approach to software development and customer support. This position will give you the opportunity to work with some of the produce industry’s leading product experts, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance and Database Managers. You will work in a team to create and enhance fully integrated, world class Oracle/Windows-based supply chain business solutions. On our team Software Business Analyst is an analytical planning and testing position. You will confirm user needs, develop written software requirement documents, and work closely with software developers to resolve design issues and assure feasibility before coding begins. In the process you will have the opportunity to interact with Famous Software employees at all levels of seniority. You will also be involved in pre-release product testing and review.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSQualifications/requirementsIdeally, you have been a software engineer or software analyst at a company that produces complex business software, such as ERP or Business Information (BI) systems. You understand concepts such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Finance as they pertain to the development of business applications. You have a good understanding of software development process. Experience using relational databases, Microsoft Windows, and graphical user Interfaces (GUIs) in a software development setting is essential. Experience in the fresh produce industry is a plus. .
