JOB DESCRIPTION

Famous Software specializes in the development, support, and sale of fully integrated accounting and business management software for the fresh produce industry. We use a team approach to product development and customer support.

This position enables you to use your creative design skills to help Famous Software employees communicate electronically with customers, prospects and each other. Media include print, the Web, e-learning tools and video.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Gain and maintain a general knowledge of all Famous Software products and markets

·         Assist with, and monitor corporate Social Marketing (audience development/lead generation)

·         Create, select, edit and place photos, videos, screenshots, diagrams and other media content

·         Help create and maintain an innovative, informative, secure Web Site

·         Convert instructor-provided drafts into online “e-learning” course content with tests

·         Work with instructors and sales staff to record, edit and publish video-based product demos

·         Maintain website users’ lists, e-mail subscription lists, press lists, and e-learning registration

·         Maintain website “how to” documentation

·         Proofread and test own content and the work of others

Qualifications/requirements

You should possess a strong knowledge of, or a degree in Marketing, Electronic Publishing, or Communications. Experience with Adobe Flash, XML, XHTML, Adobe Photoshop and advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential. Video production, e-learning tools such as ZZ-LCMS, Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe CS3, Joomla!, CSS, Twitter, Facebook, .net, PHP, Google AdWords, and graphic design experience valued. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience helpful. In addition, please be prepared to demonstrate your:
